Who this covers

This policy covers On-Site Dumpster Solutions and this site. It says what we collect, what we do with it, and how to say no. We keep it short and in plain English.

What we collect

When you send us a request, the form asks for name, phone number and a message. We get exactly what you type.

If you call or text us, we get your phone number and whatever you say or send. If you email us, we get your email address and your message.

Your browser also tells us a few things on its own: your IP address, the type of browser and device you use, the pages you look at, and the site or ad you came from. When you tap a phone number, text link or email link, or send the form, we record that it happened and which page you were on.

How we use it

  • To reply to your request, set up an estimate and do the work.
  • To follow up on a quote or a finished job.
  • To see which pages work and which don't, and to fix the ones that don't.
  • To measure our advertising and run ads. More on that below.

We don't sell your personal information. We don't rent it or trade it. We don't share it so someone else can market to you.

Mobile information isn't shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Who else handles your information

  • Tech Dad Media builds and hosts this site. It processes the form submissions for us, stores a copy of each request, and passes it on to us, so a request can't get lost if an email fails.
  • Our web host. The site and its server logs live on their servers.
  • The tools listed in the next section.
  • Anyone the law requires. If a court order or other legal demand requires us to hand over information, we will.
  • A buyer, if the business is sold. Your information would go with it.

The tools this site uses

Umami (visit counts). Umami counts visits and page views. Tech Dad Media hosts it. It doesn't use cookies and it doesn't follow you from site to site. A content blocker turns it off.

Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps and session replays). Clarity shows us where visitors tap, scroll and get stuck, as heatmaps and recordings of a visit. It sets cookies in your browser. What you type into forms is masked, so we never see it in a recording. Microsoft handles the data under its privacy statement: https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement

Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 (visits and results). Tag Manager loads our measurement tags. Google Analytics counts visits and shows us which searches and ads lead to calls and requests. Both set cookies in your browser. To opt out of Google Analytics, use https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Here is how Google uses data from sites that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

Meta Pixel (ad measurement and showing ads to past visitors). The Meta Pixel tells Facebook and Instagram which pages you viewed and when you tapped to call, text or send a request. We use that to measure our ads and to show ads to people who visited before. It sets cookies in your browser. You can manage your ad preferences at https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences

Tech Dad Media lead tracking script. This small script from Tech Dad Media, the company that runs this site for us, records three things.

  • Taps and sends. When you tap a phone, text or email link, or send a contact form, it records that and the page you were on. For a form it also sends the name, phone number, email address and message you typed, cut to a set length. It reads the form when you send it. It doesn't record what you type before that, and it doesn't record page views.
  • Where you came from. If you arrive from an ad, it keeps the ad's click ID and campaign tags in your browser's local storage for 90 days. If you arrive any other way, it keeps the name of the site that sent you, or a note that you came straight in. It sends these along with a tap or a form, so we know which ad or search worked. It doesn't set any cookies of its own. It does read the Meta cookies, if you have them, and sends those along too.
  • On Tech Dad Media's servers. They store your IP address and browser type with each lead the script records.

Google Fonts. The fonts on this site load from Google, so your browser connects to Google when a page opens, and Google sees your IP address.

Cookies

The tools above set cookies in your browser. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time, and the site still works without them. If your browser blocks cookies, Clarity and the other tools can't set theirs.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Your browser may send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. This site doesn't respond to those signals right now. To opt out, use the links above, block cookies in your browser, or use a content blocker.

Kids

This site is for adults hiring a contractor. It's not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect anything from them. If a child sent us something, tell us and we'll delete it.

How long we keep it

We keep requests and job records while we work with you, and after that for as long as we need them for accounting, warranty and legal reasons. Browser cookies and ad click IDs expire on their own schedule, and the 90 days above is the longest the lead tracking script keeps an ad click ID. The analytics and advertising companies above keep data under their own policies.

Security

The site runs over an encrypted connection, and we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe. No website is completely secure, and we won't pretend otherwise.

Ask us about your information

Wherever you live, you can ask what we have about you, ask us to fix it, or ask us to delete it. We keep what the law makes us keep, and we delete the rest. Call 513-484-2414 or email pinkyinc.com@gmail.com. There's no form for this.

Changes

If we change how any of this works, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
